Mobile phone Launches In January 2024: Look Out For OnePlus 12, Galaxy S24 Series And Some Of The Other Biggest Launches

January 2024 will see a rapid increase in mobile phone debuts due to a number of the major releases of the year. For those who enjoy smartphones, January 2024 appears to be jam-packed with releases, including the Redmi Note 13 and OnePlus 12 series in addition to the Galaxy S24 series. Thus, the following is a list of smartphone releases to be aware of in January 2024.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series (Global, India Launch)

Everything has been revealed regarding the Galaxy S24 lineup, including the design, specifications, and available colours. Additionally, it is reported that the S24 range would continue to cost the same as the S23 series. It remains to be seen if that also applies to the Indian subcontinent.

Similar to what the Galaxy S23 Ultra received over the S22 Ultra, the Galaxy S24 Ultra appears to have undergone some small design improvements. This time, the Titanium frame and consistent bezels around the display are added to the S24 Ultra. Additionally, new colours including Titanium Black, Titanium Grey, Titanium Violet, and Titanium Yellow are available.

This model has a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x curved display with 100% DCI-P3 coverage, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, support for up to 120Hz refresh rate, an eye comfort shield, and a peak brightness of up to 2600 nits. Additionally, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is present.

In every location, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be available for the Ultra variant. RAM stays at 12GB, and storage possibilities increase to 1TB. The rear cameras seem to have been updated. The S23 Ultra’s 200MP primary sensor, 10MP telephoto sensor, and 12MP ultra-wide angle sensor are all still present, however the S23 Ultra’s fourth telephoto sensor now has a 50MP lens instead of the 10MP one. It can now provide 3x and 5x optical zoom thanks to this. The front sensor is still the same as it was in the past.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 5000mAh battery that allows for reverse wireless charging, 15W wireless charging, and 45W wired charging.

The S24 Ultra’s software is based on Android 14 and is powered by OneUI 6.1. S-Pen support is one of the extra features; it is located in the slot beneath the S23 Ultra. Additionally, the phone and the S-Pen are both IP68 dust and water resistant. The gadget has Bluetooth v5.3, Wi-Fi Direct, LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, 5G, and UWB support among its connectivity choices.

Thus far, the leaks appear to be true and promising. Samsung’s next flagship lineup will be a huge success if it continues to do what it did with the Galaxy S23 series.

Launch Date (Expected)

The Galaxy S24 smartphone lineup will serve as Samsung’s flagships for the year 2024. The Galaxy S24 series is reportedly set to debut on January 18, 2024. However, this date hasn’t officially been confirmed by Samsung as of yet.

A 5400mAh battery powers it, enabling 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, and 100W SuperVOOC charging. 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.4, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 connection for charging are among the available connectivity choices.
